Hasta La Vista aggregates news articles about AI — real things really happening — and gives you some perspective, but not peace of mind.
There's a lot of noise out there on AI. There's a lot of hopium, where AI will solve all of the world's problems and lead to a wonderful utopia, and then there's the doomers, where AI is going to kill us all and then kill everything else in the universe.
Reality usually falls in the middle. But when you wake up to the implications of AI, what you can actually do with it, how quickly you can do it, how good it is at it, and how much area the tech can cover, then you are at the tip of understanding how this creates a cascading tsunami of change that will wash over the planet and all of us no matter what.

Our point of view is that the AI crisis is here. We need to, as a species, understand that this will reshape society and the human condition. It's not about doomer this or hopium that, it's waking up to the reality in front of our faces, thinking about it for more than a second, and then trying to imagine the future.
Like any color commentary on news, we have a bias. This site is run by Josh Alley, a multidisciplinary entrepreneur, who uses AI and sees what it's capable of, then can extrapolate.
To keep bias in check, our business model is no business:
No monetization strategy
No popups, no ads, no bullshit
No desires to acquire a large userbase
No podcast appearances
Nothing to sell
Nothing to buy
No accounts
Strictly business.
